Current Sensors
Bus Bar Magnetic Sensor Module BBM-02 is a magnetic sensor unit that uses basic module current. The BBM-02 connects to a rectangular cross-section current bus, enabling non-contact measurement of DC and AC currents in the bus. The BBM-02 uses two Hall-effect magnetic field sensors on both sides of the busbar.
The magnetic sensor produces an output voltage that tends to be proportional to the magnetic field produced, which is canceled by the signal magnetic fields produced in the two external sensors. BBM-02 does not contain any ferromagnetic components, so there is no influence of hysteresis, and the deviation and sensitivity have been calibrated when leaving the factory in Switzerland.
