Helmholtz Coils
SENIS model HH-HIGH Helmholtz coil is a specially designed single-axis coil with axial multi-layer arrangement, and its precise geometric shape is used to provide a uniform and stable high magnetic field. The HH-HIGH-50 Helmholtz coil is an air-cooled system without other water pipes to reduce volume and weight.
The inner diameter of this high-precision magnetic coil is 105.5 mm (the diameter is 89.3mm if there is no obstacle around the circumference), it has a very high operating range, its magnetic field strength is up to 50 mT rms, and the minimum resolution can reach 1 Gauss, depending on the power supply The highest resolution for the provider. Helmholtz coils can be installed in any direction regardless of directionality, which means they can be placed upside down or placed horizontally in other system equipment.
Since the Helmholtz coil is configured in a non-magnetic shielding environment, other magnets and conductive materials and ferromagnetic metals should be kept at least 1 meter away from the center of the electromagnet to avoid excessive influence of the internal magnetic field. All components of HH-HIGH magnet wire are made of non-ferromagnetic materials. The maximum power supply voltage of the Helmholtz coil is 60V, the normal operating magnetic field is 50mT, and the maximum instantaneous magnetic field is as high as 100mT.
